Free Radicals - Two Helliwell films, Green for Go-Go and Beneath the Watercolour, are included in this programme of experimental shorts for the annual Cork Film Festival. Triskel Arts Centre, 12th November.

Filmmaker at the Basketmakers - Ian is screening 25 of his short films in a Brighton pub as part of the Cinecity Brighton Film Festival. The show will be in two halves 7pm and 10pm. Free entry. Basketmakers Arms, Brighton, 19th November.

A Creak Retimed - compilation album featuring reimaginings of the soundtrack for the film, A Creak In Time. Alongside Howlround, Merkaba Macabre, Tom White and Dan Hayhurst, is Ian's magnetic tape loop and Hellitron contribution. psychetropes

Ian has completed four short films on the early work of British sculptor William Pye. Excerpts from the film series are now online to view, and the whole sculpture programme is available for screening.

At Brighton Modular Meet, Ian presented six of his abstract films, and demonstrated a couple of Hellitrons to illustrate how he makes his unique soundtracks. Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, Sussex University, 1st July.
